Madagascar
In Madagascar, widespread water and electricity outages have sparked major youth-led protests across the country, particularly in the capital Antananarivo. The outages, sometimes lasting many hours, reflect deep-rooted infrastructure failures and public frustration with persistent poverty and unreliable services. The unrest has now escalated into a broader political crisis, as demonstrators demand accountability and better basic services.
Morocco
In Morocco, a wave of powerful youth-led protests is rising across the country — a call for dignity, justice, and a future that truly belongs to its people. As the government pours billions into building new arenas ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 and the 2030 FIFA World Cup, many young Moroccans are asking a haunting question:“Stadiums are here — but where are the hospitals? Where are the jobs?”
Congo
In early 2025, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo saw a sharp rise in violence, particularly from the M23 rebels and the ADF militant group. Thousands of civilians have been killed, and over 7 million people are displaced. Health services are collapsing, with most facilities lacking essential medicines. Despite a ceasefire agreement in October 2025, clashes continue, highlighting the urgent need for stability and humanitarian support.
Palestine
Israeli airstrikes have continued, resulting in over 68,000 Palestinian deaths and more than 170,000 injuries since October 2023. Humanitarian access is limited, leaving civilians in urgent need of aid.
Sudan
The conflict in Sudan is intensifying, especially in El Fasher, North Darfur. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are shelling the city, leaving thousands without food or medicine. A drone attack on a refugee center on October 11, 2025, killed at least 53 people, including children and women. Severe hunger affects around 13.7 million people. International organizations and the EU call for peaceful negotiations, but the situation remains critical.
Myanmar
Approximately 16 million people, about one-third of Myanmar's population, are acutely food insecure. In Rakhine State, over 100,000 children are suffering from severe malnutrition, a 26% increase from the previous year
